How do I create my own fingerprint?
Step 1. Download the free 'MyMarq' app for Apple of Android and easily create a professional black and white drawing of your fingerprint.
Step 2. Take a screenshot of this fingerprint or download it.
Step 3. Upload your fingerprint on the product page. We'll manually ensure the fingerprint is placed as accurately as possible.
You can also use a photo or scan if you want to use a fingerprint of your loved one.
A screenshot of your fingerprint from the MyMarc app is fine! Or create an SVG or PNG file (export from the App) is even better!
Can I also make a fingerprint with ink and paper?
That's possible, but the quality is significantly lower than with the free app. In the event of death, a paper printout is often the only option. In that case, we will attempt to manually edit the photo/scan for a proper engraving.
